Chinese smart wearable brand Amazfit has launched its latest smartwatch, the T-Rex 3, in India. Its rugged design is built to survive in extreme climate conditions and supports submersion up to 100 meters. It offers up to 27 days of battery life and is compatible with the Zepp app. Moreover, the T-Rex 3 supports GPS connectivity along with OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o AI assistant.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 will be available for Rs. 19,999 in India. It will be available from September 27 and can be purchased on Amazon and the Amazfit India website. A new Lava colour variant is also set to launch in October. Currently, the smartwatch is available for pre-orders.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 comes with a round 1.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 480 x 480 pixels resolution and 2,000 nits of peak brightness level. It also has Gorilla Glass protection. The smartwatch has ZeppOS 4 integrated. It supports over 170 preset workout modes and is compatible with the Zepp App.
A major highlight of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 is that it features voice command functionality via Zepp Flow, powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 7.0 or iOS 14.0. The smartwatch includes GPS navigation and offers multiple options for GPS data storage, allowing users to choose between permanent or temporary cloud storage. It has 26GB of inbuilt storage.
Amazfit’s T-Rex 3 is backed by a 700 mAh battery and is claimed to offer a battery life of up to 27 days with typical usage. In the battery-saver mode, we can expect close to 40 days of battery life. It also has 170 workout modes, including new options like Hyrox Race mode, Freediving, Ultramarathon, and an upgraded Strength Training mode.
