Realme is back with another launch in the Indian market. Following the Realme GT6 launch in India last month, the company is preparing to launch the Realme 13 series. The smartphone series will target the sub-Rs 20,000 price segment, where it will compete with the likes of the Vivo T3 and the Nothing Phone 2a Plus. The launch is scheduled to take place tomorrow. August 29, at 12 PM. Realme has been teasing the Realme 13 series to offer “unmatched speeds” with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. It has also been confirmed that the phone will be sold via Flipkart. Several other details about the phone have been revealed, plus there have been rumours that suggest some incremental upgrades. Realme 13 series: Expected and confirmed specifications
Traditionally, the series is expected to feature two models, including a standard variant, which means it will likely consist of a Realme 13 and Realme 13+ smartphones. The company is yet to confirm the same. According to Flipkart’s teaser, the Realme 13 series will be available in two colours, likely dubbed differently, with Sea Green and Gold being the showcased options.
Under the hood, the series is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, promising greater efficiency compared to its predecessor. Realme boasts an AnTuTu score of 750,000 for Realme 13 series smartphones. Beyond this, the company has kept other specifications under wraps.
But there are certain cues that can be picked from the teasers that Realme has been sharing. For instance, the teaser reveals a back panel that looks premium but is pretty much in line with the design language we have been seeing across the Realme 13 Pro series (minus the vegan leather) and the Realme Narzo 70 Pro series and the new Realme P1. It has a marble-like finish and a triple-rear camera setup housed within a circular module. It also has a boxy, metallic frame and a punch-hole display. Notably, it will include a classic 3.5mm headphone jack, appealing to users who value this feature.
Realme 13 series: Expected price in India
As for the pricing, Realme’s recently launched Realme 13 Pro series was priced starting at Rs 24,000. The Realme 13 series can be expected to be priced slightly lower than that, potentially around Rs 20,000. The exact pricing details, however, will be confirmed during the launch event.
