Playing Nintendo Games on iPhone: Embracing Retro Gaming on iOS

Apple users can now play Nintendo games and other retro titles on their iPhones. Apple has relaxed its App Store policy and iPhone users can now officially download emulators like Delta to play retro titles like Super Mario, Pokemon Classics, and more. In this guide, we will show you how you can install the emulator app and play Nintendo DS and Nintendo 64 games on your iOS device.

Step 1: Open the App Store on your iPhone.

Step 2: Tap on the search bar and search for Delta.

Step 3: Tap on the app that appears in the search results and click on the Install button.

Step 4: Once you have the Delta emulator, it’s time to get the games. Now, to get ROMs, you will have to convert your cartridges to ROMs using GB Operator which costs $50 (Rs 4,100). However, this method is for those who already own game cartridges. But for those who don’t, there’s no official way of getting ROMs. But some unofficial sites like Romspedia allow you to get ROMs directly, however, we recommend you to be cautious as files on such sites may infect your device.

Step 5: After you have the ROM, you can go to your iPhone’s files app and head to the Recent section.

Step 6: Tap on the ROM to extract it. Once you do, it should have the Delta logo on it.

Step 8: Now, open Delta and tap on the Plus (+) icon in the upper right corner. Then tap on the file you just extracted.

Step 9: Once you tap on the ROM file, the game should be added in Delta and you can play it right away.
