For a limited time, the price of the Apple iPhone 15 in India has been cut, offering prospective buyers a chance to purchase the model at a discounted rate through e-commerce site Flipkart. Those interested in buying the base model with 128GB of storage can benefit from a cashback offer currently applicable, which reduces the handset’s price by Rs 13,900. Released globally, including in India, last year, the iPhone 15 boasts Apple’s powerful A16 Bionic chip and features a dual rear camera setup.

The discounted price of the Apple iPhone 15 in India is available through Flipkart. The current price of the model is Rs 65,999 for the 128GB storage variant. Upon its debut last year, the handset was priced at Rs 79,900, which means the current discount is of Rs 13,900, without the need for specific bank cards. Alternatively, one-commerce site Amazon India, the phone is listed at Rs 73,100, with customers eligible for a Rs 6,000 cashback on select credit cards.

It should be noted that when you add the iPhone 15 to your cart on Flipkart, an extra ‘Secured Packaging Fee’ of Rs 99 is automatically included, raising the total price to Rs 66,098. However, customers can benefit from a Rs 1,000 discount via Google Pay UPI transactions, reducing the price to Rs 65,098. Notably, Flipkart had previously discounted the handset by a similar amount back in February.

Apple iPhone 15 Camera, Specs And Features

The iPhone 15 comes with a 48MP main camera, with a 26mm focal length, 2-micron quad pixel sensor and 100 per cent Focus pixels. The iPhone 15 has a new camera system, Apple said at the time of launch last fall. Night mode on the iPhone 15 has gotten better too.

The Bionic A16 chip that powered the iPhone 14 Pro has been fitted in the iPhone 15, which uses less power than the A15 Bionic chipset. The iPhone 15 comes with colour-infused back glass and a new contoured edge. The Dynamic Island has been included the non-Pro iPhone models too. The model was unveiled in three configurations: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900, respectively.

Meanwhile, famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s recent supply chain survey paints a cautious outlook for Apple iPhone shipments in 2024. Apple has reduced its orders for semiconductor components from suppliers by as much as 15 per cent. The TFI Securities anlyst recently predicted a decline of 10 per cent-15 per cent in shipments for the iPhone 15 and the upcoming iPhone 16 series compared to 2023 figures.
