How to log into PUBG Mobile using QR authorization

PUBG Mobile is arguably the most popular battle royale game globally. With an increasing user base, several security-related issues may occur as people try to steal and take over popular accounts. To tackle security issues, the game makers recently introduced a QR code authorization feature that allows you to share your account with others without giving your password. Also, it lets you limit certain features so other devices do not have full access to an account. You can control all features and tools from the main device, which has full access.

QR authorization feature can be quite handy when you want to offer your account to your friends for a limited time or want to play on a non-regular device. Let’s see how you can use the QR authorization feature to allow other devices to get partial access to your PUBG account. Do note that you can also disable this access from your main account anytime. With that said, let’s see the process.

Here’s how to log into PUBG Mobile using QR Code

Before we get started, make sure you update the PUBG Mobile game on your phone to the latest version. To do that, head to the Google Play Store on Android and App Store on iOS and check for updates. Once the app is updated to the latest version, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open the PUBG Mobile app on your phone.

Step 2: Now, you will have to link your PUBG Mobile account with your mobile number, email, or social media account. If you logged in with Email, then you should have already done this step, so follow the next one.

Step 3: Head to Settings.

Step 4: Now, you should see the ‘Authorized Login’ option at the bottom. Tap on it.

Step 5: Read the instructions and tap on OK. Once you press OK, the QR Code login should be enabled.

Step 6: Lastly, to log into PUBG Mobile on another device, scan the QR code at the login page.

PUBG Mobile QR authorization tips

— Enable restrictions for authorized login devices by heading to Settings in the game. This will ensure that those who log into PUBG using a QR code won’t be able to use in-game items such as gift and inventory items and Unknown Cash (UC).

— Enable social feature restrictions to limit other devices from doing social interactions and team activities within the game. It also restricts QR-logged devices from chatting in the lobby.

— QR code-authorized devices stay logged in for seven days, however, you can disable them before that if you see any suspicious activity.
