Garena Free Fire OB44 update brings villain conquest, zombie hunt more to the game

Garena Free Fire OB44 update: Garena has rolled out a major update for its popular battle royale game, Free Fire. The update dubbed as Free Fire OB44 update includes a new gaming mode, new conquests, new characters and a host of other improvements including bug fixes to the game. Garena has started rolling out this update to all its users and gamers can get this update by downloading the latest version of the game from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.

What’s new in Garena Free Fire OB44 update?

— Villain Conquest: In this, players will have to defeat villains from another world that invade the Bermuda Map. Garena says that after defeating the villains, players will get generous loots and Mechadrake Points as rewards. Players can collect 3 Mechadrake Points to activate eligibility for Mechadrake Trial.

— Mechadrake Trial: Garena says players can enter the Mechadrake War if they win Mechadrake Trial, which can be invoked after getting 3 Mechadrake Points.

— Dragon Airdrop: Players will get new draconian items when they shoot Mechadrake in the CS sky through the Dragon Airdrop. The items include Dargon Freeze, EMP Grenade, Dragon Sprinters and Dragonling.

— Zombie Hunt: Garena is bringing Zombie Hunt back to the game, but with a new chapter. It includes 4v4 Rift Raiders, Hunting Spree, Double Evil, and Dungeon Ascent among others.

— Special operative Kairos: This is a new character coming to the game. He will debut in the Paradox event.

— Upgradable AUGs: The update also brings upgradable AUGs to the game that can be upgraded after the player has dealt enough damage with them. However, Garena cautions that AUGs cannot be upgraded using Upgrade Chips.

Other adjustments, improvements in Garena Free Fire OB44 update

Garena has also rolled out major improvements to various facets in Garena Free Fire OB44 update. Here’s what’s new:

— Garena is bringing character balance adjustments to Tatsuya, Ryden, Santino, Joseph, Nikita, Carolina and Kapella.

— The update brings instant feedback for players’ highlight moments, optimised suggestions for in-match communication and more types of auto-triggered quick messages in the game.

— Coming to the map, the update brings balance adjustments for hangar and FFWS-themed graffiti in Bermuda, Purgatory and NeXTerra.

— Garena has also made improvements to Plasma, which can now be reworked into Plasma-X as an airdrop weapon. The new Plasma-X is already available in Training Grounds and it will appear in BR Mode after the next BR-Ranked Season starts on May 1.

— The Free Fire OB44 brings weapon adjustments to Bizon, Tragon, Charge Buster, Double Vector, Vector, MP5 and Parafal.

— For collaboration, the company has introduced two sets online statuses, which includes Ready to Team and Do Not Disturb.

— Additionally, the update brings Evo Access, which includes 3-tier, 3-day, 7-day and 30-day with 7-day and 30 day as supporting subscription services. It brings access to Evo Guns and elite E-Badge.
