Following the recent launch of the Reno 12 series in China, Oppo seems to be preparing to introduce three new smartphones to international markets. These upcoming models include the Oppo A3 Energy, Oppo A3 Pro and the Oppo Reno 12 5G series. The presence of these phones has been verified after they surfaced on the TDRA certification database, which also confirms their official marketing names. While Oppo has not officially disclosed details about the Oppo A3 Energy 5G, it is likely to launch in China soon.
The upcoming Oppo A3 Energy, identified by the model number PKD110, has surfaced on the Google Play Devices list. According to its TENAA listing, this device will feature a 6.67-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels. It will be equipped with a 4,970mAh battery and will run on an octa-core processor with a peak frequency of 2.4GHz.
The TENAA listing reveals that the Oppo A3 Energy weighs 186 grams and has dimensions of 165.79 × 76.14 × 7.68mm. The smartphone will come with options for 8GB and 12GB of RAM, and storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
Meanwhile, after a series of leaks and rumours, handset maker Oppo recently unveiled the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro smartphones at an event in China. Both smartphones come with a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED curved screen.
The company has become the pioneer in using the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 processor, also known as the Dimensity 8200 Star Speed Edition. The Oppo Reno 12 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition. Both of these chips will incorporate MediaTek Star Speed Engine technology, which has been thoroughly upgraded to unlock the full potential of end-to-end gaming.
This octa-core processor uses the TSMC 4nm process and features 1 x Arm Cortex-A78 prime core operating at up to 3.1 GHz, 3 x Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores at 3.0 GHz, and 4 x Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz. It also includes the Mali-G610 MC6, similar to the Dimensity 8200.
The standard Oppo Reno 12 is available in Ebony Black, Millennium Silver and Soft Peach colour options. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro comes in Champagne Gold, Ebony Black and Silver Magic Purple shades.
