Nothing OS 2.5.5 update brings ChatGPT widgets on Nothing Phone 1
Nothing has rolled out a new update to the Phone 1 users. The smartphone is now receiving a Nothing OS 2.5.5 update. The update brings a couple of new features and improvements, including the ChatGPT integration. This integration allows Phone 1 users to access ChatGPT from their home screen easily.
Once you update to the Nothing OS 2.5.5, you need to update the ChatGPT app from the Google Play Store. After you follow these prerequisites, you will get access to ChatGPT voice and chat widgets which you can place on the home screen.
Further, Nothing has also made it easier to search for information directly from a screenshot. The update has added a button on the screenshot and clipboard pop-up in Gallery, letting users directly paste the content to a new conversation in ChatGPT.
In addition to this, Nothing has also added gesture support in the Nothing X app. This allows users to set ChatGPT voice as an assistant for their TWS earbuds, replacing Google Assistant. As for how this will work, a long press will activate the voice mode of ChatGPT. This way you can ask your queries to the AI chatbot without turning on your phone.
However, it is worth noting that this support is only for the newly released Nothing Ear and Ear (a) TWS earbuds. Other than this, there are a few additions the update brings. They are as follows.
— There’s now a new option for the Nothing Icon Pack to be applied to the Home Screen alone.
— Organizing apps on the home screen is now easier as you can scroll through pages on the Home screen while holding app icons.
— There’s a new custom option for enabling and disabling the QuickSetting swipe-down pae on the lock screen interface.
— More options have been added for customizing the icons within the status bar.
— Lastly, the update brings a RAM Booster feature. To set it, visit Settings > System > RAM Booster.
That’s all that the Nothing OS 2.5.5. the update brings to the Nothing Phone 1.
