Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 update: Epic Games has released Season 3 or Fortnite Chapter 5 to the players. This new season brings a host of new elements to game, which includes updates to the Wasteland, new weapons, new vehicles and in-game improvements.
The story in the Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 5 revolves a new biome called ‘Wasteland’ that has been created by a ferocious sandstorm. Wasteland has been claimed by ‘Wasteland Warriors’ whom you must battle to win the game.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: 17 New things coming to the game
— Redline Rig – It is a Nitro refinery in the Wasteland that is run by The Machinist, who is the Wasteland Warriors’ master mechanic.
— Nitrodrome – It is another area in the Wasteland which hosts the circus of car spectacle. It is controlled by Ringmaster Scarr.
— Brutal Beachhead – It is the base of operations for the Wasteland Warriors. It is also the lair of the Wasteland Warriors’ master muscle Megalo Don.
— Wasteland also includes other areas called Snooty Steppes, which the players can check out within the game.
— Nitro Splash and Nitro Barrels – Players will find Nitro Splash and Nitro Barrels in the game that have been shipped from Redline Rig. Nitro Splash is a portable Nitro container, which players can throw down to infuse their cars or themselves with Nitro. Nitro Barrels, on the other hand, are Nitro containers that Nitro-fy on contact. Nitro Barrels fly off on hitting and explode on landing.
— Nitro-fied car – Nitro will increase the driving speed of the player’s car, decrease fuel consumption, buff to attached attack mods and bring ramming power to deal with damages and knockbacks.
— Nitro-fied player – Nitro will increase the movement speed of the player, decrease stamina consumption, increase the reload speed, bring fall damage immunity and bashing power to deal with damages and knockbacks.
— Nitro Fists – These are accessories that will let players perform a 3x punch combination. “Nitro Fists have four charges, each one recharging every eight seconds. The uppercut and aerial punch use one charge, while the 3x punch combo uses none. If you aerial punch the ground instead of the air, the impact will be meteoric to surrounding enemies,” Fortnite makers explained in the game.
— Vehicle Mods: Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 5 also brings back vehicle mods to the game. This season unvaults Cow Catchers and Chonkers Off-Road Tires while adding four new mods. Here are all the new mods coming this season: Machine Gun Turret, Grenade Launcher Turret, Spiked Bumper, Cow Catcher, Bulletproof Tires and Chonkers Off-Road Tires.
— Vehicle Mods can be attached to the car or any another vehicle using Vehicle Mod Box and they can be repaired using the Repair Box, which includes an unvaulted Repair Torch for fixing popped tyres and broken windows.
— Wasteland also has service stations replace gas pumps, refill the car’s gas and Health while parked on the station pad.
— With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, players can turn an SUV on the island into an equipped car. Fortnite says that rhere will be certain Car Bodies in the Shop compatible with SUVs instead of Sports Cars. “Also, select SUV Car Bodies from Rocket League will become cross-game eligible in the future,” the company added in the blog.
— Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 brings nine Behemoth bundles to the game.
— This season also brings War Bus and Battle Bus to the game. Each War Bus comes with two cannons on top and a horn that produces an EMP pulse. Players will have to hijack one of these vehicles for their road trips.
— Rewards: Defeating or eliminating any Wasteland Warriors will bring rewards for the players. For instance, eliminating the Machinist will earn players The Machinist’s Medallion while eliminating Ringmaster Scarr will earn users Ringmaster Scarr’s Medallion and Ringmaster’s Boom Bolt. Similarly, eliminating the Megalo Don will earn users Megalo Don’s Medallion and Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists.
— Season 3 brings a bunch of weapons from older seasons. The list includes: Combat Shotgun, Gatekeeper Shotgun, Warforged Assault Rifle, Tactical Assault Rifle, Enforcer AR, Hand Cannon and Shockwave Grenade to name a few.
— Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 5 brings Wrecked Battle Pass to the game. Some of the rewards in the Wrecked Battle Pass include Outfits of the Wasteland Warriors and other wastelanders like Rust.
